Supported Blockchains & Assets

WireUp supports multiple blockchain networks and a growing range of digital assets. Support varies by blockchain network, and available features may differ depending on the asset you're using.

Currently Supported Networks

WireUp currently supports the following blockchain networks.

Solana

Supported features include:

  • SOL
  • SPL tokens
  • Solana NFTs
  • Staking with supported validators
  • DEX-aggregated swaps

Solana support in WireUp includes staking, rewards, swaps, and other supported network features.

Ethereum

Supported features include:

  • ETH
  • ERC-20 tokens
  • ERC-721 and ERC-1155 NFTs
  • WalletConnect-compatible applications
  • Swap support through integrated DEX aggregators

Ethereum network (gas) fees apply to all transactions performed on the Ethereum blockchain.

Bitcoin

Supported features include:

  • BTC
  • Native Bitcoin transactions
  • Send and receive BTC directly on the Bitcoin network
  • Public address and transaction history
  • Block explorer links for transaction verification

Bitcoin uses a UTXO-based transaction model and does not support smart contracts or token standards such as ERC-20.

Bitcoin network fees apply to all Bitcoin transactions and vary depending on network activity.

Additional Network Support

WireUp continues to evaluate support for additional blockchain networks.

When considering new networks, we evaluate factors such as:

  • Security
  • Ecosystem maturity
  • Wallet integration requirements
  • Infrastructure stability

New networks become available as they complete our evaluation and integration process.

Note: Supported blockchain networks may change over time. Refer to the latest release notes or the WireUp app for the most current list of supported networks.

Supported Asset Types

Depending on the blockchain network, WireUp can manage several types of digital assets.

Native Assets

Examples include:

  • BTC
  • ETH
  • SOL

Additional native assets become available as new blockchain networks are supported.

Fungible Tokens

Supported token standards include:

  • SPL tokens (Solana)
  • ERC-20 tokens (Ethereum)

Additional token standards may become available as support expands.

NFTs

Supported NFT standards include:

  • Solana NFTs (Metaplex)
  • ERC-721
  • ERC-1155

When supported, NFT displays may include:

  • Artwork preview
  • Collection information
  • Token metadata

Staking and Liquid Staking Assets

Where supported by a blockchain network, WireUp can manage:

  • Staked assets
  • Liquid staking tokens

Availability varies by blockchain network and supported protocols.

Are All Tokens Visible by Default?

No. To reduce clutter, WireUp automatically displays:

  • Popular tokens
  • Known ecosystem assets
  • Tokens with verified metadata

You can manually show or hide supported tokens at any time.

Unsupported Assets

WireUp currently does not support:

  • Assets on unsupported blockchain networks
  • Assets that require custodial management
  • Assets that are incompatible with supported wallet standards

If an unsupported asset is sent using the correct blockchain network and address, it isn't necessarily lost, but it may not appear in WireUp until support is added.

How We Evaluate New Network Support

Before adding support for a new blockchain network, we evaluate factors including:

  • Network security
  • Wallet and signing compatibility
  • Infrastructure stability
  • Ecosystem maturity
  • User and partner demand

This process helps ensure that new integrations are reliable, secure, and valuable for WireUp users.
